Esther Reeves is a Southern California artist. Her oil paintings range in size from 3-inch miniatures to a mural of 32 feet. Emphasizing harmony in the universe and dignity of man, they celebrate life and the human spirit. Esther uses color in a rich portrayal of her images. Brush strokes are quick but exact, giving a soft edge most often attributed to the Plein Air style of painting. Her understanding of the use of color combined with ranging degrees of light and have attracted private collectors from the entertainment industry, business and educational institutions and church groups of various denominations. Reeves' paintings may be seen in India, Spain, Japan, and throughout the United States, including the Capitol Building in Sacramento, California. |

Reeves has studied privately with Ralph Love. She has taught Art at California State University, Fullerton, and holds and MA and MFA from that university. | |
